A 4-pole motor runs at approximately 1440 RPM — half the speed of standard 2-pole pumps (2850 RPM). This lower speed dramatically reduces wear on all moving parts: mechanical seals last longer, bearing life is extended, impeller erosion is reduced, and motor winding temperature stays lower.
Available from 3 HP to 15 HP in three-phase configuration only. The wider impeller clearances at 1440 RPM allow the pump to handle soft solids up to 70mm — larger than the 60mm capacity of 2-pole sewage pumps.
